CLASS 1 DRIVERS NEEDED

Excel continues to grow and is looking for Full-Time, year round Professional Class 1 Drivers for the Prince George, BC AREA

COMMERICAL TRANSPORT MECHANIC

Our Prince George, BC location is currently recruiting for a Commercial Transport Mechanic.

Responsibilities:

  • Perform routine maintenance and repairs on vehicles and equipment
  • Diagnose mechanical issues and provide appropriate solutions
  • Conduct inspections to identify potential problems and recommend necessary repairs
  • Repair or replace faulty parts and components
  • Test vehicle functionality and ensure proper operation
  • Maintain accurate records of all repairs and services performed
  • Adhere to safety protocols and maintain a clean and organized work area

Requirements:

  • Journeyman certificate, Red Seal
  • Proficient in using diagnostic tools and equipment
  • Ability to interpret technical manuals and diagrams
  • Excellent problem-solving skills
  • Detail-oriented with a strong attention to accuracy
  • Good interpersonal, organizational and the ability to communicate in a professional manner
  • Welding and Electrical experience knowledge would be an asset
  • Be able to work well independently and as a team player
  • Candidate must demonstrate good safety consciousness
  • Physical stamina to perform manual labor tasks

Class 1 license will be considered an asset but not a requirement
