About Us

Excel Transportation Inc. was founded in 1985 by the local Prince George Andersen Family. Gord Andersen continues to serve as President of the Company. With Head Office still situated in Prince George, Excel has expanded and diversified into the Excel Group of companies. The Excel Group comprises of Excel Transportation Inc., Excel Transportation Alberta Inc., Stardust Contracting Ltd., and Excel Resources Inc. Combined, these companies provide over 200 jobs to families in North Central BC and Alberta.

The Excel Group’s primary customer base operates in the forest industry. We provide residual wood fiber transportation services, log hauling, and in-woods grinding. We work closely with our customers to determine the most efficient, effective and reliable solution to the haul. Excel specializes in log fiber hauling with diverse equipment for diverse situations.

Stardust Contracting Ltd.

Stardust Contracting operates in the Fort St. James, Houston and Terrace, BC regions for bulk haul forestry services.

Excel Resources Inc.

Excel Resources primary focus is large scale in-woods grinding services, as well as road de-activation and maintenance for in-woods operations.
